A Ramp alternative that works with the cards and bank you already have

Ramp is a corporate card with spend software built around it. To use it, a US company opens Ramp cards and moves its spending onto them. If you would rather keep the cards and bank you already have, or you are a sole trader, a family or a team outside the US, TaskSpend gives you the part you were really after: every receipt captured, every big purchase approved first, and a budget that is always up to date.
Keep your cards. Keep your bank.
TaskSpend does not issue cards and does not ask you to move money. Pay with whatever you pay with today, a company card, a personal card, cash or a bank transfer, and record it in TaskSpend: scan the receipt, or drop in the card statement as a CSV or PDF and every charge becomes an expense to review.

Open to everyone Ramp turns away
Ramp asks applicants to be a US corporation, LLC or LP with an EIN, a US physical address and at least $25,000 in a US business bank account, and it does not accept sole proprietors. TaskSpend asks for an email address. It works for:
- Sole traders and freelancers keeping client spending apart from their own
- Small crews and new businesses that do not have $25,000 sitting in the bank
- Families and households running a renovation, a wedding or a shared budget
- Teams anywhere in the world, in about 165 currencies converted at the day’s ECB rate
Approval before the money goes out
A card limit stops overspending after the fact. In TaskSpend a team member asks first: a purchase, a deposit, travel or mileage, with the estimated cost and a quote attached. The approver decides with the project budget on screen, and the approved request becomes the expense, so nobody types it twice.

Built around projects, not just cards
Every expense lands on a project and a budget category such as Labor, Materials or Travel. Each project shows what is spent, what is pending and what is left, and a category that goes over is flagged straight away. Owners see everything; Members see only their own expenses.

Priced per workspace, not per person
Ramp Plus is $15 per user a month plus a platform fee. TaskSpend charges the workspace, so adding an approver, a site lead or your bookkeeper costs nothing extra.
TaskSpend is priced per workspace, not per person. The free plan covers three workspaces with 10 projects and 10 people between them, and 100 expenses and 50 requests a month in each workspace. Plus ($7.99 a month) lifts those limits. Premium ($14.99 a month) adds AI document reading and QuickBooks Online and Xero sync.
