Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the TaskSpend mobile applications and website (together, the "Service"), operated by Boyach LLC ("TaskSpend", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What TaskSpend is

TaskSpend is a project budgeting and expense-management service for small teams. It lets organizations set project budgets, record expenses, capture receipts (including AI-assisted reading of receipt details), request and grant spending approvals, manage team roles, and generate reports.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account, and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You may sign in with an email and password or with a supported third-party identity provider (such as Google). Your use of a third-party provider is also subject to that provider's terms.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live (18 in most places), you may use the Service only with the permission and supervision of a parent, guardian, or the employer whose organization invited you — and that adult accepts these Terms on your behalf.
• Creating or owning an organization, and purchasing a subscription, are reserved for adults. Both create a binding contract, so only a person who has reached the age of majority where they live may do either. Someone aged 13 or older who is not yet an adult may be invited into an organization and use the Service within the role an adult grants them.

3. Organizations, roles and your data

• Data you submit in an organization — projects, budgets, expenses, receipts, approvals, comments — belongs to that organization and is visible to its members according to their roles.
• Organization owners and managers control membership and roles. If you join an organization, its owner controls that organization's data, including after you leave it.
• Each organization's data is isolated from other organizations. Members of one organization cannot access another organization's data through the Service.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you upload, including receipt images and notes. You grant us a limited license to host, store, process and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload.

5. AI-assisted features

TaskSpend uses automated (AI) processing to read receipts, fill in expense details, summarize spending, and answer natural-language questions about your data. AI output can be wrong. Extracted amounts, dates, merchants, categories and AI-generated summaries are provided for convenience and must be reviewed before you rely on them. You — not TaskSpend — are responsible for the accuracy of records you save and decisions you make based on them.

6. Not financial or tax advice

The Service provides record-keeping and reporting tools. Nothing in the Service is accounting, tax, legal or investment advice. Consult a qualified professional for advice about your situation.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for unlawful purposes, including recording fraudulent expenses;
• attempt to access another organization's or user's data;
• probe, disrupt, overload or interfere with the Service or its security features;
• reverse engineer, copy or resell the Service except as permitted by law;
• upload malicious code or content you have no right to share.

8. Service availability and changes

TaskSpend is an actively developed, early-stage service. It may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued; features may be added or removed; and we may adjust how the Service works, giving reasonable notice where a change materially affects you. We appreciate bug reports but make no promise that any particular issue will be fixed.

9. Fees

TaskSpend offers a free tier and an optional Premium subscription that unlocks additional capacity and features.

• Premium is an auto-renewable subscription sold through the Apple App Store. Apple bills you, not us — we never receive or store your payment card details.
• Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before that period ends. You can view, change, or cancel it at any time in your Apple ID subscription settings.
• Only a person who has reached the age of majority where they live may purchase a subscription.
• A workspace's plan is chosen by its owner and determines the premium features available to everyone in that workspace.
• Prices and plan limits may change. We will give notice before a change affects a renewal. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies.

10. Privacy

We process your personal data to operate the Service — account details, organization content, and technical data needed to run and secure the platform. Receipt images and expense data are stored securely and are not sold to third parties. You can delete your account at any time from within the app (see Section 12). Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why in full. For other questions about your data, contact support@taskspend.com.

11. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, logos and content (excluding your content), is owned by Boyach LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use the TaskSpend name or logos.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time, and you may delete your account from within the app using the Delete Account option in your profile settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your account and sign-in credentials.

Organization records survive account deletion. If you contributed to an organization's projects, the content you submitted — expenses, receipts and related project details — remains part of that organization's records after your account is deleted, as described in Section 3, because the organization needs complete records for its budgets, approvals and reports.

We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms, harms the Service or other users, or creates legal risk. Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive (including Sections 4, 6, 13 and 14) survive.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost — keep your own copies of critical records.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boyach LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim or USD $50.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Boyach LLC is organized, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in that state will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
